We received the Fisher Price Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym as a baby shower gift. Our girls loved it from the moment we introduced it to them.
We probably laid them in it for the first time when they were about one month old. They both loved to look up at the blinking lights and hanging toys. As the weeks and months passed by they learned to reach for the toys and loved to feel the different textures on the blanket.
Compared to other similar products the Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym seems to have more area for the kids to lay down on. This was important to us because we could put both of the twins on it at the same time. We have other similar blanket/gyms that only had room for one baby at a time.
The gym remained on the top of our girl's favorite toy list until they began to crawl and become interested in other things (usual stuff that they aren't supposed to be getting into).
