I'm new here...

Hi My name is Rene and I'm new to this site. I am the mother of twin boys. They are turning 1 on July 20th. I can't believe it. I sent out the invitations today and it almost made me cry. I also have two other children. My son, Zachary will turn 6 in August and he is going into the 1st grade. He is such a big help. I don't know what we would do without him. And my daughter, JoAnne (we call her Joey) just turned 2 in March. She is not so helpful...
. But we love her anyway!
I feel like after almost a year I'm finally get the hang of this twin thing! A little fun fact about me is that I also have a twin brother and my two older sisters are twins and my cousins are twins. I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised when I found out I was having twins (I got pregnant on the IUD, by the way).
Anyway, I would love to talk to other parents of twins and be able to chat about all the fun stuff (and not so fun stuff) that comes along with having twins, or kids in general.

We had to do the birthday small because of a family emergency. But I did get pics and I will try to get them posted today. They had such a good time and Emerson LOVED the cupcake. London couldn't quite figure it out though.

Yes...but I was a little smarter with them than I was with my first two. I bought the high chairs with the vinyl covers instead of cloth. It was MUCH easier to clean!!!
