Help! formula switch
One of our twins was just put on Similac Alimentum for reflux and for him to digest easier, any suggestions how to go about affording this at $26 a can? We have some coupons but $5 only gets you so far. What can we do?

Call Similac, they should give you some extra coupons. Also have everyone you know sign-up to be on the coupons list and when they send free samples and coupons you can keep a steady supply. Also if you're not a member of Cosco or Sam's Club, become one!! Check them out first (go with a friend) and figure out which of them sells the extremely large cans of the formula that you want. It's much cheaper to buy in bulk.
See if you can get your
See if you can get your Pediatrician to get your Health Insurance to cover it (or part of it). Our twins are on Enfamil Nutramigen and our Health Insurance just approved it to be written as a prescription. I do not think it will cover all of the cost, but if it knocks down the $25/can cost life will be much easier.

Do you buy from an online merchant via Ebay that you can recommend?
I don't have a specific
I don't have a specific merchant. I have bought from several sellers. I was a little nervous about it at first, but all of the cans are still factory sealed and I check the expiration dates before I place any bids. We haven't run into any issues and I have seen listings for many brands. We use Enfamil Lactofree, so don't bid against me!!
