Hi,
I am 23 weeks pregnant with two boys. I am really nervous and anxious because the last time I was pregnant I had a missed miscarriage at 20 weeks (the baby died in the womb with no symptoms).
This time around, I am considered to have a high risk pregnancy for several reasons:
I am 36 years old almost 37.
And because of my past miscarriage.
Two days ago, I got a phone call from my ob-gyn's office. A nurse called and told me very "matter of factly" that one of my boy's umbilical cord has only two blood vessels instead of three. I did some research on the internet but I don't know that the information I found was accurate.
Has anyone out there ever experienced this? If so what was the outcome? I am very worried because I only plan to have these two babies and I want them to be OK.
Thanks
Flora
