Baby Books, Letters, Scrapbooks??

I had every great intention of starting a baby book for each girl.  I bought two babies books, tried to fill in some a few days before they were born (I was just too tired and sick when preggo), updated a few (okay maybe once)  times, and now it sits collecting dust.

I was wondering what everyone does?  Do you have a baby book for each baby, one book, a scrap book, or collection of letters?

I started last month with the letters. It is a great reflection, but an emotional moment!  I am writing my online on our family (my husband's) website.  We have them set to private because it is pretty sappy hehe!

I have a baby book for each of my older DD's, but neither one really has anything filled out EmbarassedI went back to work after the oldest was 6 weeks old, and with the youngest one, I was doing daycare for 5 other kids at the time, so I never had the time!!  I think the only thing that is filled out in either one of them is info that can be entered before they were born (price of gas, gallon of milk, etc)  Then, of course the date and time they were born, and all their birth statistics are in there.

I have my baby book from when I was born, and my Mom only filled out a small amount of things also.  I was #3 of 5 with her.  I'm 18 months younger then my brother, and then I have a sister who is just 16 months younger then I am.

I bought them each a book, and I updated it when they were about four weeks old...and not since. I also bought a bunch of scrapbooking stuff, which I love to do, but haven't had the time. I plan to make one for each of them though. My mom wrote stuff on her calendar (first tooth, etc) and then copied it over every year. I may start doing that, and then copying it into their baby book after that calendar is done!

I take millions of photos of our girls (as you can see in my blog). So I plan on putting together photo books (like you can get through Blurb.com). Notice I say I "plan" on doing it. I think it would be totally cool to have 18 books (one for each year) to give the girls when they turn 18. Kind of like, "This is your life in pictures" ...

its a pipe dream anyway. I have the photos... but do I have the time to put it all together?

Although can be pricey,  books are very easy to do at shutterfly.  I have done it with my first child a couple times a year.
I made my 6 month old twins there own First 2 weeks books.  Nothing since!

Oh yeah Shutterfly is another website I was trying to think of!

That is the route I am going to go for the baby books thing. Well I am a dad so scrap booking isn't exactly one of my strong suites anyway.

Yes, my wife and I have 10 month old twin girls and there are no local support groups in our area. But believe me, we could use support! We figured there might be others in the same boat... or other parents of multiples that would just be interested in talking to each other and lending support when they could so we launched this website about a week ago (that's why the forum posts are few and far between at the moment - but hopefuly that will change soon).

I had a baby book for each of my girls. My husband and I love to take pics of them and we usually worked on them when they were sleeping. I now have a scrapbook with both of them. I have scrap booking classes that I attend so I have plenty of time to work on them there and I usually work on them while we are on vacation. (usually while our ship is traveling to it's next location or at night.)
