I became really uncomfortable at 30 weeks. I stopped working at 32 weeks and I was miserable for those two weeks of working with all that baby weight. At 32 weeks, I became really really really tired. I just slept all day most days and laid on the couch a lot. At 35 weeks I was begging for the babies to come. When I saw my Dr. 5 days before my scheduled c/s, I was in tears and since I was 36 weeks along he said we could move the c/s to the next day. I was so happy!!! My girls were born at 36 weeks and were perfect.
You have a long road to go, but just take it one day at a time. Take frequent rests, do not try to do a lot in one day. At 22 weeks, I was big I looked like I was 8 months pregnant.
I never was extremely uncomfortable - I kept busy with my daughter and worked also until 36 weeks. They had to induce me at 38 weeks 4 days (the boys were too comfy to come on their own I suppose!) My hubby and I went to Applebees for lunch before I went into the hospital to be admitted. I guess when I was induced and started feeling contractions was when it was uncomfortable to me!!! I actually gained more weight with my daughter (by 32 pounds!!!) and had edema with her- so the boys were easier for me- just more dr. appts.!!! And of course, harder when they got here than a singleton!!
take care and rest up!!!

I'm 31 weeks now . There are some days when I'm pretty uncomfortable but there are also days when I have tons of energy. Now today, HAH. It is pretty hot so of course my ankles look like elephant ankles.
I went to the doctors yesterday and I swear that I will carry these girls forever!! Of course they are sideways but besides that they seem pretty darn comfy. I keep hoping that the doctors will just give me a date since I am going to have a c~section, but of course not. I will probably be like Lanie and carry them past 38 weeks I know it is best for them to stay in there longer BUT carrying all this extra weight is killing my back. Hopefully my girls keep on adding on the weight and they will take me at or around 36 weeks..
i too look like im 8 months too...i cant wait to see how big im going to get....i should rent a tent and charge admission...lol...thanks ladies for the words.... it always help to know your not ALONE....
Sooooo true! I still have some of my tents.... thought the boys could use them for camping in the back yard when they are a bit older, lol!!!! I think the hardest thing for me though was getting behind the steering wheel those last few weeks!!!!

Going to the store was really fun. People would ask me if my water was going to break. I just needed a shirt that said TWINS, then maybe they would leave me alone. I felt like everyone was staring at my belly.
I say limit leaving the house after week 35...hehehe!

You joke about the tent but wait until the end when you have nothing to wear...that tent might be a good idea
