Just wondering what everyone's feeling are about having another baby after twins.
Are you going to have more kids? How old do you want your twins to be when you have another baby?
Maybe it's because I'm 23 and this is my first pregnancy with my husband but, I don't think I want anymore. This pregnancy has been so hard for me so far! If I have two boys, I will honestly consider it though because I have always wanted a little girl. If we have one of each, we both feel we are done with having children!
TwinsMom is already after me to go get the old "square knot" if ya know what I mean. I know that neither of us feel like we could handle or afford more kids right now, but who knows how we will feel a few years down the road?
well...seing how i wanted "4" and he wanted "3"....and we have two already,,,,i think its safe to say now that mommy wins again....we r DONE....for our family it just made sense for me to stay home,,,once i saw how much the kids benefited from it and how much pride i got from doing it i wanted another one or two(i got two alright)....my hubby and i realized for us our money during these years is most enjoyed having children....
Oh I'm so with you on the hard pregnancy twinsmom...I had to go into the dr's office today because I couldn't take the migraines anymore that I've had almost every day for about two weeks now. Perscription strength tylenol and about a 3.5hr nap later I finally can open my eyes all the way. I'm only 11weeks 5 days and it's been SOOO tough so far. She assured me this will all go away in the next trimester, I hope she's right!
We already have 2 children(13 & 6)and now identical girls almost here. Whew!! It's not too bad. Sometimes stressful. Only because i have a high risk pregnancy and i've been seeing the doctors every 2 weeks since 9 weeks. Now its every week and we have to go an hour away. My pregnancy has actually been pretty good. Of course at first a little more sickness but that passed fast. I honestly have to say my last pregnancy was the worst. I bled the whole entire 38 weeks.(Thanks to my underactive thyroid and there was a small tear in the sac) If my daughter wasn't 13 and if i was a little younger (since now im marked more high risk because they now say that the cut off age for being old is 32 weeks for having multiples and i turned 32 right after i became pregnant) i probably would want more. I think. I'm not though. I always have alot of kids in and out of my house and i'm sure that it's going to get crazy here i a couple weeks when the twins come. So it's safe to say that i'm done. Soon I'll be dealing with my daughters high school drama so i'm sure i'll stay busy.
I honestly think my daughter (and us too) is EXTREMELY lucky she came before her brothers!!! I don't think we would've had any more children if the twins were first!!! So, with that, yes we are done!!!!

We are DONE!!! Scheduled for the tubal during the section. I can honestly say that had twins come first, we would not have tried for a third. I ever imagined I would have three children...though I'm sure it will be a blessing (and somehow manageable.) But, never say never b/c I was once not having children at all! I got "knocked up" with my amazing girly when my husband was home on leave from Afghanistan. Then I was certain I was NOT doing it again. But once Chloe was about 18 months I started thinking about having "just one more"...apparently I'm an over-acheiver. Whatever you decide, you already have a lovely family.
Hi. I had my son 14 months after having my twin girls and I have to say that it was a difficult but rewarding experience. He was a surprise to us, but a great surprise and I wouldn't change anything. They are now 6 and 5 and my life is full and very rewarding.
Cuties! I bet your house is full of fun every day!
One of my friends (she is a member but not active) Aubri has twin daughters that will turn one soon and she is prego with a little surprise boy...I am so happy for her. What a big surprise!

I have 10 year old fraternal twin girls and I'm 32. I don't think I'm having any more kids even though my husband wants a son.
