Everyone
The girls are both starting to walk now. It feels like they will be going off to college any day now.
I've been trying to post a new blog for a few days now, but things have been a little busy. Hey I have twin daughters, what do you expect?
So what's new... lets see. Chloe is very close to taking a few steps on her own. If she hasn't already... I think Grandma and Grandpa might be concealing certain "firsts" so that mommy doesn't feel bad. And hey, I'm all for that.
Claire has turned into little miss "ham it up". If she makes a face or does something that makes us laugh, she will continue doing it.. over and over. First she would scrunch her nose, then she would breath in and out really fast, then she started tilting her head back and doing the nose scrunch thing and now she has learned to wink. Well it is more of a double eye blink than a single eye wink, but it is still pretty much the cutest thing you have ever seen.

Testing 1,2,3. Is anybody out there?
The weather was nice today and so we headed up to the lake for a bar-b-que with family and friends. We thought we would try and grab some nice "ten month" photos of the girls while we were up there, but Chloe wasn't diggin' it.
This was the first time she has really ever been put down on the ground with leaves and grass and stuff. I don't think she knew what to think. One thing was sure sure, she wasn't in the smiling mood. Though Claire was hamming it up as has become the norm lately.
Our house has a very open floor plan, which is one of the things we really loved about it when we bought it. Of course had we known that Chloe and Claire would be arriving on the scene at the same time, we might have gone in a different direction. Now that the girls are mobile, crawling all around, it is hard to keep them corralled in one area. Lately we have had some success by building a wall with the chairs from our dinning room table. The couch, chairs and end tables (with pillows piled up under them have provided an impenetrable barrier so far. Coming to our house is very much like visiting the zoo.
The girls eating some puffs off of their chair wall.

Chloe macking down.

Can you guess which girl just fell over and bumped her head?

We took the girls to the lake yesterday. The weather was great and they both had a blast. They are nine months old now and getting bigger by the moment. They each have 5 or 6 teeth in or coming in, they pull up and stand holding on to stuff, they both wave when you say "bye bye" and Chloe has started kissing the animal pictures in her favorite books.
